# Mods → RPF

Bundle your finished work into a single mod file that GTA tools and servers can use. Pick one of three jobs and FiveOS does the packing for you.

![The Mods → RPF tab](/files/1kLdAVa60huEEzJp6FZM)

## How to use it

1. Pick what you want to make:
   * **Raw packed `.rpf`** — squeeze a resource folder into one shareable file.
   * **Singleplayer ped `dlc.rpf`** — turn a character model into a singleplayer add-on.
   * **Replace an existing asset** — swap a stock GTA item (like a phone prop) for your own.
2. Drag in your files (and for a replacement, type the exact name of the item you're swapping).
3. Click build, then grab the finished file from the output folder.

## Tips

* **Replace** has two options: *server-side* (everyone sees it) or *client-side* (only you).
* Client-side swaps only show for you, and many servers block them — use server-side to share.

## If it doesn't work

* **Replacement not showing?** The item name must match the stock file's name exactly.
* **Ped clothing missing?** Freemode/EUP outfits get flagged — they aren't a simple add-on.
* **Client-side swap invisible on a server?** That server blocks them; use the server-side option.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://fiveos.gitbook.io/fiveos-docs/guides/rpf.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
